I have just started reading this book and i find this book really touching. It is about a young african american basketball player. Who stuggles poverty with his mum but meets some friends along and forms a team . I chose to read this book because the title of the book inspired me. Everybody knows who Lebron James is. Everyone knows that he is arguably the most dominant player in the National Basketball Association today. But most people don’t know his story and where he came from. Many people know that he came to the NBA out of high school and went first pick to the Cleveland Cavaliers. Everybody knows him from their TV screens, but there is another half of Lebron James that people don’t see dunking over half their team’s players each week. That’s the story of his [...]

I decided to read More Than A Game because LeBron is my favorite NBA player. I've been his #1 biggest fan for three years now, and I was dying to read a book about him! I was eager to learn more about my idol besides his amazing ball-handling on the court. Once I was finished reading, I gained so much more respect for LeBron. For example; he had it tough when he was little, but he still followed his dreams and made it very far in life. I recommended this book to anyone who doubts LeBron- I guar [...]

The book starts out with Lebron talking about how growing up was hard. It became easier with the help of a basketball team with players that would become his life long friends. He and his basketball team the Shooting Stars started out playing just regular games until one day the entered a tournament. It was a tournament for all the state of Ohio they were just a small town Akron ,but they were good and they started winning. They eventually got all the way to the finals were the final seconds wer [...]

Lebron’s dream team was an excellent book and I would give it 5 stars. I enjoyed reading about his journey to where he is now. I would recommend this book to any athlete to show that nothing is going to come with ease. He went through struggle and it took hard work and dedication to get to where he is. I love his writing style ,he was very detailed in the book. He described his very intense games and how his practices went .He talked about all the people that helped him in his basketball caree [...]

What I thought about this book is that it is very motivating. throughout the story it talks about how LeBron had overcome so many obstacles with him and his mother and just to see how far and how successful he became since he was younger is very inspiring. I recommend this book for everyone especially sports readers.

The book I read was called "LeBron's Dream Team". This book was based on a autobiography on LeBron James and his friends. The story started talking about how LeBron come from the city Arkon,Ohio. A place where lebron was raised by his mother for a short period of time. It was a hard life for LeBron being raised by his mother for the type of conditions they where in. So his mother had the idea that is should be token up for adoption and live a better life with a family, so his future basketball c [...]

Lebron James was born in Akron, Ohio. He was just an ordinary kid who rode his bike around the city. Even in the bad parts of Akron he rode his bike just to stay out of trouble. When his grandmother died, he stayed with his mom. But it was not just an easy ride. They moved over 8 times trying to find somewhere to stay. LeBron’s mother worked 2 jobs to make sure that he stayed with heat, food, and clothing. After a while his mom decided it was best for LeBron to stay with a new family until she [...]

Lebron's Dream Team by Lebron James and Buzz BissingerAutobiography272 pagesLebron James is arguably the best basketball player ever to play the game. When he was in middle school he was on a team called the Shooting Stars and they had the "Fab Four," Lebron, Little Dru, Sian, and Willie. They were a really good team and they won many championships. When they all went to high school they went to St. Vincent St. Mary high school and they did this to play basketball. I know a book about LeBron James is NOT what you would expect to see on my reading list. And it WOULDN'T be on my reading list, except for the fact that I added it to my students' summer reading list and I promised to read all of the books on it as MY summer homework. So, did I want to read this book? NO! Did I particularly enjoy reading it? No. Do I think that many of my high school students would enjoy reading it! YES!For ME I would rate the book 2 Stars. As another reviewer pointed out, LeBro [...]

Lebron's Dream Team is a fantastic book to read. In the book it's love, a little pain, and even some every funny moments. Lebron and 4 other friends form a unbreakable bound from high school playing basketball. He relationship with all four other people is very strong. His friends names are Romeo, Willie, Sian, Little Dru. In my paper I'm going to be talking about Lebron's relationship with all 4 guys. Lebron talks about all these guys as there are his real brothers and he considers them to be. [...]

Lebrons Dream Team by LeBron James. LeBron James by far one of the greatest players of my generation. Once had a better team than the big three in high school? This book will venture into his early years from elementary to senior year in high school and even into when he declares for the NBA draft the fab five and his high school days were unstoppable I have seen videos of LeBron in high school and his teammates it was men against boys in high school. The Fab five is probably one of the greatest [...]

I would rate Lebron's dream team a 4 out of 5 because although it did explain games and events with detail and a good writing style, Lebron James is an athlete, not an author. Now I know he had professional help, but it is still his writing style. I would recommend this book to kids from ages 10 to 16 that are athletes because in that respect, you can relate to many of the things Lebron went through in his life as an athlete. Yet, I would recommend this book to those who "have no chance" or no h [...]

Lebron`s Dream Team is an inspiring book. He wishes he had Kobe or Melo or someone amazing like them in his high school. He and five friends went to Saint Vincent High School. The people who came to watch him were given a good show. He averaged 30 points in each game. This book shows Lebron`s path to greatness. He tells us about his journey to the NBA. Today Lebron plays for the Heat and his nickname is King James. This book was an excellent way to learn about what it takes to be a successful ba [...]

This was a great book about how the best player in the world started his legacy. And how him and his four friends won championships and how five friends made history. This proves why a little hard work and dedication can leads to lots of things. Even though Lebron conquered his dream of hitting dead on in the NBA there is nothing better then four supportive friends to go along with it.

I love this book. This book is about how LeBron James childhood went.He moved a lot a faced money challenges. He joined a youth basketball team called The Shooting Stars. He loved the guys he played with, so they joined forces and went to the same high schooley dominated.Tou should definitely read this book.

    Carl Reyes

In my opinion, this book is the most inspirational. LeBron, who was born and raised in a small town called Akron in Ohio, became a big impact in the history of the sport of basketball. He is an inspiration to all because of his hard work and talent he possesses. Having to be the best high school basketball player in the nation was big for him and his town Akron. Overall, very good book to read.

    Sean Stacey

As of now in the book Lebron is now starting to meet his new friends that he will be playing basketball with for the rest of his childhood. He looks up to MJ (Michael Jordan) and what's to play just like him and that is what he wants to strive for in his childhood and basketball career.

I thought it was pretty good overall because it talked about alot of his intense games he played and it told all about his life. So i would recommend it to people who like LeBron or people who like basketball.

    Ray Cole

I think this was a good book the way they showed how five guys united and played basketball together and what each of them are going through. They showed us how they went to become something more than a team they showed us how to become a family they all had some difference.

    Cory Meschede

I am to the part where they are just starting to come together as a team to win.
