I would simply define this story as beautiful. It is a novel set against the backdrop of war. It is pleasantly slow moving, heart breaking and original. Poetry in writing was never more apparent than in this lovely, piece of fiction. This is really just a brilliant story. It's sort of a slow-burn romance tied into plot of honor, pride, and, true heartbreak. Everything about it shows the depth of the both humanity and the situation. It is a story that has really taken me along on the journey with the characters. I highly recommend it.
This is a great story of love found and then? I hope the author is able to complete it, in which case it deserves to be published and lauded - but even if it is never finished it is thoroughly recommended for reading, incomplete as it is (as of September 2013). Such a heart breaking tale, full of evocative moments and language and a damaged anti-hero who is as much a victim of war as are the physical casualties. As it is a beta version there are spelling/grammar issues aplenty but these pale in [...]
